Sleep, perchance to dream
Ay, there's the rub. Sleep has been elusive lately. I'm not sure why, but for the past week or so I've found it hard to nod off, instead settling into a sort of middle zone for an hour or more, where I'm not asleep enough to ignore the sounds of the city out my window but not awake enough to get up and close the window and turn on the A/C. Combined with the usual night-time cat antics, I find it hard to wake up and I'm fading quickly in the afternoon.
Hence, caffeine is creeping back into my daily intake schedule, mostly in the form of Arizona Green Tea, but also decaf coffee with increased regularity. I fear I'll be back to daily multiple cups of black java by the end of the year if this keeps up.
Yawn.

Posted by: Andrew at September 9, 2003 12:15 AMThis week has been pretty sleepless for me, too. But mine comes under the category "nightmares" -- I haven't been so tormented by my dreams since I was, like, 10 years old. Weird.
Posted by: +mojan. at September 9, 2003 09:12 AMCoffee eh? Good man! ;)
Hell. Gapers keeps me ME up all night and I don't even admin it. You do such a great job on it that I think it's time well spent.
